Ex Soviet Union
Vitoldas Milius’ expedition to the states of the ex Soviet Union, after almost 20 years of Lithuanian independence from the Union, is unique. VAZ Nine, dating back as early as 1989, having run 75 000 km before the expedition, remarkably handled the tough trip.
Purpose of the trip: visiting the states of the ex Soviet Union, after almost 20 years of Lithuania, having regained its independence.
Route: Vilnius – (transit via Poland*) – Kiev – Chisinau – (transit via Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey) – Tbilisi – Yerevan – Baku – Ashgabat – Tashkent – Dushanbe – Bishkek – Alma-Ata – Astana – Moscow – Tolyatti – Moscow – St. Petersburg – Tallinn – Riga – Vilnius
*Belarus prohibited entering their country
